Our client is a market leader in the supply and maintenance of Industrial compliance and inspection equipment. At this time we are seeking a Mechanical Workshop Technician to join their Victorian team to assist in building, testing and commissioning equipment for capital projects and carrying out corrective maintenance on their range of equipment as required.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Undertaking quality workshop builds for new and reconditioned equipment
• Quality Control of new equipment
• Accurate and timely completion of relevant paperwork
• Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting other technicians as required

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:

• Appropriate trade and/or tertiary qualifications
• Have a disconnect/reconnect electrical licence (or the ability to obtain one)
• Good diagnostic/troubleshooting skills and attention to detail;
• A strong customer service and OHS focus
• An energetic and positive team player
• Previous workshop experience building and/or repairing equipment (ideal)
• Previous manufacturing industry experience (desirable)
