Our client is a market leader in the supply and maintenance of a full range of End of Line equipment including carton sealers, pallet wrappers, strapping, banding, and packaging consumables throughout Australia. Currently, we are looking for a Service Technician with strong mechanical skills to install, troubleshoot, and service packaging machinery in the Brisbane office and on client sites.

This role is ideal for a Mechanic or Fitter who is looking to branch out into the interesting field of industrial automation machinery and solutions, or possibly you are an Electrician with strong mechanical skills. A trade qualification will be highly regarded, as you will need to obtain a restricted electrical licence to complete your duties. Consequently, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate most or all the following skills and experience

• A trade background in a type of mechanical or electrical field.
• Good mechanical skills (You could be a Motor Mechanic)
• A natural affinity for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic principles that could be applied to new career training.
• An ability to work under a time pressure during a breakdown
• Display excellent customer service and calm communication.
• A strong eye for detail and a determination to do it right the first time.
• Be a proactive self-starter who can build strong relationships with the client and have empathy toward their needs.
