A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Person with meat industry experience to manage all aspects of the direct sales and marketing of a range of specialist meat processing and packaging machinery throughout Sydney and Country NSW.

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to point to a history in machinery sales within the meat, smallgoods, or pet food markets. However applications from individuals who are comfortable demonstrating and selling PLC or microprocessor based equipment to the other protein based processors are also strongly encouraged to apply. 

Reporting directly to CEO your duties will include but not be limited to the following key functions:

• Sales of meat, poultry, fish and dairy process and packaging machinery solutions to existing and potential new clients.
• Canvassing and networking the market to unearth new opportunities.
• Interacting with engineering and technical teams (both internal and external) on factory layouts, machine footprints and customised solutions.
• Proactively liaise with local and overseas suppliers to ensure accurate product information is obtained for customer queries and for quotes
• Preparation and presentation of formal quotations and tender documents.

Ideally the person we are seeking should be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria:

• You are a sales achiever in the meat or associated product industry.
• You are familiar with process and packaging equipment in the food manufacturing industry.
• Trade or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. Trade qualifications in Butchery or similar environment would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated success with developing and implementing growth sales plans
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office products desirable.
• Proactive customer service focus
