Our client is a high profile, CNC Engineering business, specializing in the manufacture, assembly and testing of fully integrated parts for aerospace and naval defense contacts.

Due to growth within the business, we are now looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer to the team. Working in the comfort of a modern facility, furnished with only the very best, state of the art machines and software, you will be required to create complex programs for 5 axis CNC mills from Catia 3D models. 

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria. However candidates from a similar background with similar skill sets are also strongly encouraged to apply:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Ideally you will be proficient with Mastercam and/or Catia programming software, or at a minimum, Solidworks.
• The ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings & specifications
• Possess an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
• Use of measuring equipment including Vernier’s, Micrometers etc.
• Previous hands on CNC milling and a familiarity with 5 axis machines would be highly regarded.
